Moving forward - if we learnt anything from last year it is that we need to look after each other and the health and wellness of our communities.

Our 2021 mission, along with creating great hair and an excellent salon experience, is to  continue our focus and effort on creating a safe environment for you and our team through diligent sanitation, committed sustainability and community gratitude.

Spending our time with YOU! Creating great hair, sharing insights, giveaways, tips and tricks and some fantastic MANE Salon events, including the biggie, our 10th birthday!

The Manies are excited for 2021 and all it may bring, so stay tuned we certainly have some exciting and fun projects happening this year.
Each year we pick a charity to engage with throughout the year. This means we get involved with chosen charity events, hosting events, taking workshops, sending gifts of baking, and or working within the community.

Our charity of choice for 2021 is the Wellington Hospital Oncology Ward. We will be working closely with the team/staff from the ward to give some special care to those who look after others. One of our activities will be dropping baking into the ward (we figure patients will benefit from this too) along with complimentary hair services for the nurses and ward clerks - everyone needs a pamper and some self care, and this year the MANE team really want to do this for those who do the caring. We will also be holding some patient information evenings on hair loss, wig fittings, cutting and styling, please reach out to us anytime if someone you know would benefit from one of these evenings or would like some help and advice, we are here to help office@manesalon.co.nz.

The MANE team is on the MOVE! We are submitting a team of eager walking or running Maniacs into the Wellington Round the Bays 2021 to raise awareness and funds for mental health. Nearly 50% of New Zealanders will experience a mental health problem in their lifetime and with the challenges of 2020 the New Zealand Mental Health Foundation needs resources to help our community now more than ever.
